Hi all,

We have been told by our UK reseller that any Gap compliant handset will work in replacement of GDC range , so we have got some BT7110 Gap compliant handsets , but on the handsets there is only a pin section to input a 4 digit number what would be the account code, but no section to enter a park code has any body encountered this, will the hanset automatically pick up the park code from the system if both in registration mode .

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I think this can work when there is only one basestation in
your area where the subscription is possible. When there are more you maybe find the wrong one.
I have tested with LIK several Aastra/Ascom, Ericsson, Alcatel, Siemens(profesional and not professional) and I had
no problem to subscribe them. Panasonic was not possible to subscribe.

In Denmark we have sold and installed both Aastra, Ericsson, Ascom, KIRK and Siemens DECT handsets in connection with GDK, ipLDK and iPECS systems.
The registration is done using the AC code of 4 digits.

First the WTIB(E) must be installed and programmed:
From the attendant console e.g LDP-7024.:
1.
First press [Trans/Prog]+ 0# + flex button 6 + and enter PARK code (see PARK label on MPB (14 digits)) + [HOLD/SAVE].

(PARK code is 14-digits and always start with 3110 ...... (entered correctly!))

2.
Second press [Trans/Prog] + 0 # + flex button 3 + 1234 (AC code) + [Hold/Save].

(First PARK - then AC code)

3.
Register the DECT phone - from the operator:

From attendant console:
[Trans/Prog]+ 0 # + flex button 1 + extension number + 2 + [Hold/Save].

4.

From DECT phone search for the ipLDK system PARK code 3110....
and regiter with the AC code, which is 1234 in this example.
Nice and easy!

Addendum!

It can be necessary to manually enter the PARK code from some DECT handset models:
so:

4a.
From the DECT phone search for the ipLDK system PARK code 3110....
and regiter with the AC code, which is 1234 in this example.

4b.
From the DECT phone go to the subscription menu. Here (for some models) enter the ipLDK systems PARK code 3110....
Now regiter with the AC code, which is 1234 in this example.
Some DECT handset require that the AC (or PIN) code is 0000.
This cooresponding AC/PIN code must then be set in the ipLDK systems WTIB(E) board.

be advised, som gap phones (siemens for example) do not ring on a callback (a transfered call being not answeared, and calling back to the transfer ext)
