Gantt Chart Questions

Two questions:

1. I regularly switch from Gantt chart to resource graph, then back again. Every time I go back to the Gantt chart it puts me at the top rather then where I was before. Is there a setting some place where the Gantt chart will stay in the position it was?

2. I like my Gantt chart days to be date (1, 2, 3, etc.), rather than the day (M, T, W, etc.). So I set the options to do this, however, every time I zoom in and then back out it goes back to the day setting. What can I do to make the date setting stick?

1. No. Instead:
Window > New Window
Window > Arrange All

Set one window to Gantt; set the other to the resource graph.

2. Interesting! I don't use D1, D2, etc so I'd never seen that before. I "played around" a bit and wasn't able to quickly find an approach that used "Zoom" and preserved "D1, D2." (Clearly, further exploration is necessary.)

Thanks for the help. Windowing did the job. It will be interesting to see if someone else has a solution for my second question. It seems like it's a bug.
