Games keep minimizing

Everyone,

My games keep minimizing on win. 98

I have a P3 at 800MHz and 128ram with a Matrox G-400 graphics accl. and soundblaster.

It does it seemingly random about every half hour.I never had this problem on old PC and it only does it on Westwood games.

It doesn't lose any info or saved games :

Have you checked for patches? You might also check to see if you have some sort of program that would be starting or refreshing every once in a while.

Yes, but it is a fairly new game (Red Alert 2)

So no patches? Did you check to see if something was trying to maximize itself or starting? Maybe an internet connection?
