Dell Optiplex GX110, P# w/ 512mb RAM. Installed a sound card (Turtle Beach Montego, old one I had). It shows in Device Manager with no conflicts. Sound works find. I want to hook up a Gravis analog joystick. PC does not have an on-board game controller port, but the sound card does. Device manager shows the game port on the sound card is working ok. But joystick doesn't work. I have reemoved/added several times. When I look at Control Panel>gaming options>controller id>ID>1, yet when I try Start>run>DXDIAG>input>controller id>0. Any suggestions?

Did you install the joystick's drivers?

It is an analog joystick, no software or drivers for it. I've checked the Gravis website and it advises to use MS gaming options to install.
