Is the game port on your sound card or is it onboard? If it is on the sound card you could always remove it from device manager and try reinstalling it to freshing the drivers. Same for a stand alone game port.
cawking, to answer your question, if it's there you would enter the bios/cmos the usual way (F1, delete or whatever your mobo requires) and probably find the setting near any sound settings (maybe in the advanced chipset section). The exact details would depend on your motherboard, but would only apply to the built-in game port; not the one on the add-on sound card. Do both game ports show up correctly in Device Manager?
