I know CM6 is out. I am on 3 and figured I was stuck there because I have been told several times that G700s are not supported above CM3. I guess there were some exceptions depending on how many trunks were needed. Yet when I look at firmware updates for my G700s they have firmware for G700s that is only recommended with CM5.2.1. I would like an accurate reading about whether we could upgrade our media servers without fork lifting the MGs?

G700s are supported above CM3, we are on CM 5.1.2 and upgrading to CM 5.2.1

If you have S8300s in the G700s you may have to upgrade them based on what you have in the gateway. I think you have to have at least an S8300C, but I think you can only buy S83000Ds

Check the support.avaya.com website for the CM Compatability Matrix and also the System Capacities Table for CM 5.

It will give you a lot of helpful information.

I know that MAPD boards are not compatable with CM 5. You have to upgrade to AES servers.

CM6 is not out. I did an upgrade to CM6 with G700's with LSP's using the latest 30.x.x and it was fine.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
