Hi, I have run into a small problem with a 3 stack G700 installation I have just put in for a customer. For the 2nd and 3rd G700s in the stack I have been able to put in 3 static routes to be able register the MGPs back to three different CLANs should there be failures. On the master however I am only able to enter one static route then I get a message back saying "operation failed, the table is full". The MGC list has entries for all 3 CLANS plus the S8300 I have configured as an LSP. I have tried re-setting the MGP and the whole stack several times but no joy. Has anyone run in to this problem and if so, how did you resolve? Many thanks.

G700 MGP IP Routing Problem

Ok it does work try these steps.
1. clear ALL configs on MGP P330 and VOIP
2. Choose anyone from the G700 to be the master then the rest would be slave. 1 master 2 slave.
3. Do not stack all the G700 first configure it individually
3. For the master config the following:
a. P330 IP add and ip route
b. MGP and VOIP ip add then MGP ip route
c. MGC list
d. reset, VOIP first, MGP next the P330
4. For the slaves.
a. and VOIP ip add then MGP ip route
b. MGC list
c. reset, VOIP first, MGP next the P330
5. Mount the G700, Place the master onto the botton, then the slave would be on top of it.
6. put the stacking cable and the redundancy cable. Do not mix these cables because you might end up having looping conditions. Stacking cables (short cable) are for stacking ONLY. Redundacy cables (long) are for redundancy.
7. Power up the equipment.

Thanks for the response, the above was not really an option however as the stack is already built and on the network and the site is now remote (left customer site last week). I was able to telnet into the stack and nvram init the MGP in question and this time it allowed me to build all my addtional ip routes back in.
