G700 Auto Re-Direct 1

I was wondering if there was a way for a vector to check to see if a G-700 (or a set of them) was up before routing the call to it.

We have an 8700 here and a stack of G-700's across the street. We had an issue where the link between the sites went down and they (our central Call Center) were unable to receive calls. We do NOT have a 8300 in that stack nor do we have any PRI's in the stack. They all come in at the main site and then route over to the phones over there.

I was looking at the "location" and "check" vector steps but not sure if this is what I need.

Any thoughts?

There is a vector command "goto step X" if "media-gateway x" (= or <>) registered

So there is a way to check to see if a media gateway is registered, in a vector.

I'm not sure what RTU you need enabled to do that test, we have an AVAYA dealer demo system, most of the RTU is on...
