G450/S8300E Alarms with no ping - Boot bank B - N/A 1

This G450 is on Firmware g450_sw_38_21_1.bin
S8300E is on AVP 7.1.3, Utility Services 7.1.3, CM 7.1.3

I have a spare G450 where the S8300E works just fine, however the production G450, the S8300E just alarms and will not ping.
We can put an S8300C in this G450 and it will work fine, but not the S8300E.

Also when we try to install Firmware g450_sw_39_12_0.bin, we get an error “Firmware incompatible software image with this type of device” Same with g450_sw_39_12_30.bin.

We have these same software/hardware configurations working in another gateway with success and have compared settings to be exactly the same.

Can anyone provide some advice on how to resolve these issues?

Also, Another gateway has missing boot bank B. Is there any way to restore it? Show Image Version command just shows bank B as N/A

To upgrade G4x0 FW from 38_x to 39.12 you have to do two step upgrade - please read release notes of FW 39.12 - first you have to go to 39.05 then to 39.12.

If you are trying to upgrade FW from US first you have to start TFTP service (disabled on US 7.1 by default)
Missing FW - try to install the same FW as you have in bank A then upgrade it to latest.
There are also some FW versions incompatible with some HV of gateways - check support.avaya.com
