G450 as DHCP Server- Waiting on LLDP

I am using a G450 as a DHCP Server, and using 9620 and 9630 sets. My phones will not get past waiting for LLDP. I have set everything in my 450, maybe not correctly it seems, any thoughts? Not sure if it is allowed here to offer anyone a crack at it, but am willing to do that too. Tghis is a R.5.1.2

What is the version of the IP Stations?
Maybe try to update that.

Which code have you programmed to activate DHCP?
Does the DHCP server works with a PC?

Do you have option 242 set?

Have you set up your file server e.g MViptel ?


Make sure you have set the txt settings file up correctly.

And make sure you set up the DHCP server on the G450 correct....there is very easy to follow guide starting page 482

I got the phone to come up, seems link it didnt upgrade the firmware I loaded on the server though.

My Avaya 9620 & 30's were setup by a contacted company,so things appear to be right. i get the "waiting for LLPD" error sometimes when i unplug a phone and plug it back up. i can usually reboot the phone in a different vlan than the original and then put it back in the original vlan and this will clear the error.
