Did you do it through the services port?

Sometimes it seems to take a couple of times, don't know if it's cause I'm bad a spelling.

Are you trying this from the console cable or services port on the g430?
That does not work if you are trying to login over the network.

That's been removed since 36.5 firmware.
You'd have to use the RST button with a paperclip or call Avaya

hi all

first of all there is no console port in my gateway and the second thing i tried several time through the service port but did not work with the (login:root Password : ggdaseuaimhrke) so i do not know what shall i do :/

Thank you.

So as Kyle has already pointed out you are most probably on a firmware that does not allow this type of access , you will have to use one of the other methods mentioned and default the kit ... or get Avaya do reset it for you.
