G430 console port

Hi. I need to reset root password for en G430 and I can´t find the console port. Where is it?

Doesn't have one! IP Services port 192.11.13.6 for it, .5 for you.

And the backdoor password is no good anymore since a certain firmware level, gotta nuke it.

It's the services port. between CCA 10/1 and LAn 10/3
set up your laptop to 192.11.13.5 255.255.255.252 and ssh to 192.11.13.6
username root
password

The rev Kyle555 is referring to are post 34.6.0 & 36.x you might still be on an old release.

I already tried with backdoor password ( "ggda....." ) through Services Port and could not access.

I guess it´s a brand new g430, probably a newer release.

Avaya can login as init and change the root password

You can also use the reset jumper pin , in the chassis.
