Recently added a MedPro card to G3 system. Already had a CLAN. Want to add IP Phones for new office area that is being built out. Working with a local partner.
CLAN and MedPro (I'm told) are configured correctly and responsive to pings and other tests. IP sets (4610sw) will not register with CLAN. Attempts to connect to port 1719 appear to be rejected by switch.
After many hours of sitting on hold with support, the latest is the HW version on CLAN is too old, even though firmware is up to date. Avaya partner suggests trying newer HW version.

Any other thoughts on what might need changing?

The 4610 runs through boot up and gets to DISCOVER 10.<CLAN_IP>. Never any further.

Thank you in advance!

Forgot to mention.
CLAN is a TN799 DP HW01 FW038.
Have tried replacing the CLAN. No change.

Is it your first CLAN and MedPro in this system, or do you have others working?

Did you try "list trace ras ip-station XXXX"?

Do you have Allow H.323 Endpoints stroked to y?

The CLan had been in the system for at least three years. This is the first MedPro.

I don't have the H.323 Endpoints option for whatever reason.

I'm almost embarassed to admint, but a restart of the switch in the early hours this morning seems to have solved the problem.

Phones are happily registering!

Thank you for everyone who made suggestions.
