G350 with Modem issues

All,
Has anyone ever set up a G350 with a modem directly to the G350 (no 8300)? I used the docs and still can't get past the ras screen. I'm thinking it has something to do with the ppp authentication.

I'm having the same issues right now, did you ever get this resolved? Also, I have the new multi-techzba usb modem and after I run through the GIW to enable it it never comes up with a power light, is that normal? The docs say this is the only compatible usb modem for the g350. I'm wondering if it has somehthing to do with the FW the g350 is currently running (26.44.0)??

Has anyone found a solution? I'm having the same issue.
I tried to enable it theu the CLI also.
I'm running 26.46.0
