Can any one give me the pros and Cons of a G350 vs G700? We are looking to put a gateway off my S8700 in a remote office. I have one vendor proposing a G350 and one a G700 at about a 10,000 cost difference. I am diging into researching them on AVAYA support, but was wondering if anyone has exprience with both.

I got all my answers on the differnce between the two gateways. No need for reply.

I would still be interested in a response to this question.

Major differences:

G350 -

Pros:
- Layer 3 switch built in
- Supports POE Module
- Good for small office

Cons
- Not stackable
- Can't expand beyond one with S8300 deployment (would have to buy G700 and move S8300 to it).
- Limited number of users supports
- Limited capacity of VoIP Resources (32 total uncompressed talk paths)

G700
Pros
- Simple L2 Switch config
- Stackable
- Full 64 Channel uncompressed VoIP Module
- Redundant NICs

Cons
- No POE support
- No Routing in switch (L2)
