Having issues using the trunk port on the integrated board on the G350. I have programmed a trunk to use this trunk port for 911 but I get a fast busy when accessing the trunk or dialing 911. The trun shows in-service but I still get a busy signal when trying to go over the trunk.

Is there something in the gateway that I need to configure for this trunk to work..?

Do you have the correct loop type configured for the trunk group? Can you dial the TAC directly?

Yes, its set as loop start, and Dial Access is set to Y, but I get a busy signal when attempting to dial the TAC

Plug a 2500 or butt set into the line and see if you can place a call

Code:
list trace tac *93 Page 1

                                LIST TRACE

time data

13:54:48 term trunk-group 3 cid 0x273
13:54:48 route-pattern 13 preference 1 unavailable cid 0x273
13:54:48 dial 96123638294 route:HNPA|ARS
13:54:48 denial event 1012: Destination Unavailable D1=0x830001 D2=0x273
13:54:48 dial 96123638294 route:HNPA|ARS
13:54:48 reorder trunk-group 3 cid 0x273
13:54:52 idle trunk-group 1 member 2 cid 0x273

If you are dialing the tac directly, do not dial 9. Not sure how your carrier accepts dialing for your area, but try dialing it as a 7 digit number or 1+ if needed.

Just dialing *93 which is the TAC number and getting a busy signal

TAC dialing requires ars analysis entries to be correct.
trace shows trunk-group 1 to trunk-group 3 denied

Avaya. Too little or no help? Expensive?
For FAST switch support at bargain rates, give bsh a call.

I have that specific 612 number setup in the ARS table to go out a route that only has trunk grp 3 configured. Trunk grp 3 is the trun grp that is the 1FB on the G350.

But is the format of the number being sent correct. Again, not knowing how your carrier will accept the call, but is the format of the number being sent to the loop able to be dialed the same way if you hook a test set up to the loop?

I can connect directly to the 1FB and dial that 612 number no problem. Not sure if this trunk port on the G350 can be used as a outgoing trunk.

Problem fixed, found a MM711 analog board, installed it into the G350 and all is good.
