I installed a G350/8300 lsp off of an 8700 Cm2.0. G350 is registered and all is working. The only thing that is NOT working is that translations are not being updated when I do a disp lsp. Update LSPS when saving trans on the System Parameters Maint page is flagged to YES. The only thing that has NOT happened is final registration with Avaya. What could be stopping the transaltions from being saved???
I might also add this was my first install with no BP, I did all the programming.. so any help would be appreciated

I don't think it would register back to the 8700 if it was blocked..

i have had the issue alot, it may be okay coming in, but going out from the CM it may be blocked.

my guess is that your G350/S8300 is not running CM 2.0, but rather CM 4 or CM 5.

You will find that with major CM version differences, translations being pushed to LSP's can be a big problem.

Can you upgrade your main site to the same version of CM that your LSP's are running, or at lest keep them in the saem major CM load (all in CM2, CM3, CM4 or CM5)

AVAYA claims its supposed to work (newer LSP version with an older CM on the main site), I have never had any luck with major versions being different..
