I'm looking into different options for an ip trunk between a g3 v8 prologix and an ip400 at a remote office.
The prologix can be connected to a cisco 26xxXM router via either a DS1 card or a C-LAN/medpro combination. What is the functional difference here? Which is easier to configure? I assume either way will get you all the features such as 4 digit dialing and caller-id..etc?
If I go with a c-lan/medpro, will I need to make sure a certain software feature is enabled on the prologix?
Will the IP400 need anything in addition to its VCM8 card?
TIA...
