G.723 or G.729

Hi

I'm thinking of using G.723 for SIP trunks, any thoughts about this?

Currently we are using the G.729 but due to bandwith traffic, we are experiencing poor voice quality lately. I'm thinking to change my codec.

I would solve the problem with the bandwidth!!!
When G.729 is already a problem then G.723 won't fix it.
You really need to get a dedicated voice line, your company is relying on it!

Indeed, if you are thinking of doing this SIP trunks aren't really for you, they don't fit every situation

What if you left with these option, let's put the 'increase the bandwith' thing? which one do you prefer?

the only option is as both guys say increase the bandwith by preferably getting a dedicated managed voice service this will solve your issues
