There are numerous ways to change your forward number...ideally want 1 button to forward incoming call to hunt group to 1 of several offsite numbers...can program button for the user that fwds but need to be logged on as that user. variables can do it, how would you do it???

create speed dials through shortcodes. Example: 601-650 could be the shortcodes and have them dial out to pre-defined phone numbers. Just make a speed dial list for your users and they can forward them to the speed dial short codes rather than having enter the entire number you want to forward to. That would probably be the easiest way to do it that I can think of.

Creat a sequential (Hunt) group containing a number of phantom useres
set the forward unconditional & forward hunt group calls to teh numbers you require
if you now divert you phone to the group it will ring each external number in turn
the Phantom useres do not need to be logged on for forward unconditional to work

With user variables you would only really be able to forward to two numbers because the test user variable action only has the option to return a true or false response. It would work if you wanted to swap between two numbers but any more and it wouldnt really be feasable as i understand it.

Well if you want to use the "test user variable" way you can have more than 2 numbers. Just make several tests. If var = 1, if false then if var = 2, if false then etc..

Although this way it will be easier to just change the foward number.
