I was interested in what everyones thoughts and experiences are and have been on the future of the small/medium size local telephone system & even local IT business installers, the mom and pop family owned companies including the future of the Avaya product line?

Thank you. I look forward to your replies.

Avaya's CEO has openly said that the problem at the small/medium end was that following the initial purchase, there was no further revenue from 70% of those customers. No point having a huge customer base if there's little or no ongoing revenue. Especially when getting new customers is where a lot of the cost is.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

So guys as a work from home/small business person running around 5 extensions and 5 sip channels, I currently have the IPOSS package so I can upgrade myself and keep my system/J Series phones up to date.

In your experience working in the industry, can you see that eventually I'm going to have to migrate over to Avaya Cloud Office or do you think Avaya may continue to offer the IPOSS to smaller operations like myself?

Thanks, Tim
