I Have 2 BD in Oracle. The 2 bd that they generate different objectos, they had origin in the same initial structure consequentemente having redundancies to the level of some structures of data, information and interfaces. Thus, Bd of form was identified as essential to proceed to the fusing of the 2 to reduce the complexity of the management of the information. sow I have 2 database witch the same extruture and diferente data... I neet to join the 2 database in one database.

Victor,

Perhaps the easiest method to consolidate the data is to use Oracle's "exp" (export) utility to gather the data from the "obsolete" database, then "imp" (import) the data into the target database.

The key to success is to use the "imp" parameter "ignore=y", which instructs the Oracle import utility to ignore the fact that the tables already exist in the target schema, thus not generating any errors when it sees that the tables are in the schema already. I also recommend that you use the "imp" parameters, "fromuser=<source schema>, touser=<target schema>" to ensure proper placement of the data.

If you have additional questions about how to make this happen, please post your questions here.

Good afternoon
Before more tanks for the help, but I have another dough
what I have is a table with thousand of registers… about 30Gb for table. The process of “imp” “exp” is optimum process? It does not send to the log, becoming a very slow process? It exists another process?
I remember that the columns on the table of the two database are equal.
Thanks for helps.
