Funny phone manager fonts

Installed PM in english. All is fine apart from the text next to the check boxes "Pop phone manager" "Hide on close" etc...is in some arabic or middle eastern appearing language. windows 98 PM 2.1.15 regional settings are correct....I know you can use programs such as resource hacker to edit the exe file...anyone know where the values for this text is or why this would appear like this...???...huh???

We had this problem. We just use a different Skin.

I saw a similar problem and it was the color depth was set to 256 colors. Set it to 16 bit or higher.
