Can't seem to see any stored procedures or functions contained inside packages when connecting to Oracle. Only SP's and functions compiled outside packages are available.

Any ideas?

Thank You.

Your question, from an Informatica perspective, does not make sense.

Could you please provide specifics.

My objective is to use an Oracle SP in an Informatica Stored Procedure Transformation.

I select the SP Trans. and connect to the database. Listed are two folders "Procedures" and "Functions". Under the Functions folder are functions in that database that I can choose. But, if the function in contained in a Package, it is not available (not listed in that folder) to select from within informatica. Same with SP's.

Hopefully this is a better explanation of the problem.

Thanks and please let me know if I can explain further.

Do the Stored Procedures and Functions show up in Oracle as Stored Procedures and Functions, or do they show up in the Packages only. I am betting they show up in the Packages only.

Informatica only looks at SP's and Functions. Compile the SP's and Functions as such in Oracle.

Yep, they show up in Packages only.

Thanks for the help.
