what is a function sequence error and how is it caused. How do i go about fixing it. It occurrs in a jsp when i try to access a visual foxpro database. It usually occurs when i try to call the next method on a result set or the getString method.Thank you fro your help.

I ran into this problem in an Access97 database trying to update an Oracle 8i linked table using Oracle ODBC. It turned out that the update caused a violation to the defined key. In other words, if the update had succeded, I would have had duplicate keys when duplicates weren't allowed. Once I cleared the condition, no more function sequence error.
