Does anyone know, if possible, how to call a user-defined function from a DTS package? I have date fields in several comma delimited text files that need the same reformatting before I can use them, but I don't want to rewrite the procedure evertime. Thanks for the help.

Function Call from DTS

Can you be more specific as to where in the DTS package you want the function to be called? If it is in a transformation that utilizies lookups then I would say make the function call from within lookup SQL and return whatever the function returns. In general you can call a function from anyplace in a DTS package that you can build a SQL statement.
