Full-Text Search not working

I have inherited a SQL 2000 database that has full-text search enabled. I am new to this feature and spent all yesterday trying to get it to work on my development machine. I have been unsuccessful. I used

to set it up. I tried it on both the database I inherited and the Northwind database, but cannot get it to work.

Any help as to what could be the problem is appreciated.

Hi;

I would only suggest to make sure your SQL SERVER FULLTEXT SEARCH Services is running in services.
