Hi all

does any one of you remember how to check if a psystem in full system partition is in mdc mode and if it is how to change that.

As far as i remember i have to shut down the system in standby mode and then ...

Check on the HMC. If the system is only running one LPAR, and one profile with all resources assigned to it, and you can't create other LPARs or profiles, it will be still in MDC.

Thank's for this answer ibm support replied me and gave the procdedure.

As it said for full system partition i have to start in wait for partitioning mode and then start the first and in my case the only one partition defined on the system.

In the start window options you can uncheck the MDC mode
