How is full system backup done in AIX 4.3.3 into a single tape?
There are several filesystems in the hard disk:

/dev/lv00
/dev/db1
/dev/db2
/dev/db3
/dev/db4

What is the command to backup all these filesystems to the tape?
Thanks.

Use the mksysb command to backup the root volume group (mksysb -i /dev/rmtx). This will create a bootable tape which will also backup the standard jfs filesystems in the root volume group which you can restore files from. External volume groups will need to be backed up using the savevg command. You have not mentioned what database you are using but if this is informix then you will have to backup using the tbtape command.

As skiddy says use the mksysb for the rootvg - or as you only need to backup a few filesystems you could use the backup command rather than the savevg.

Cheers,
Dave V.
