Full Hard Disk- cannot be detected.

Hi everyone, I have a big problem. I have a hard disk that receives a warning of "low disk space", I was not able to delete some files before I restart my PC, after i restarted my system, that said hard disk cannot be detected anymore.

-I have different hard disk for my OS. The said hard disk is for my files.
-Cannot detect on BIOS
-The hard disk powers up when I turn on the PC.
-Tried on different PC, still cannot be detected.
-The said hard disk is SATA.
-Not using RAID.

How can I make that HDD to be detectable?
Is that normal when the HDD is full it cant be detected by the system?
How can I recover all my files on that HDD?
Will I be able to make it work again?

My guess would be that the HDD is failing. Can the BIOS see it? If this is where all your important data is located the first thing I would try to do is to recover files. Plug it into another PC and see if you can manually remove files off. If not a data recovery program may be needed or if its fully gone, a data recovery center.

After getting the data off I would test the HDD to see if it is indeed failing.
