If I am do a full backup of C: and I later create new files under C:, will the next full backup store these files or does it only back up the files that were originally selected when creating the backup job? Essentially, can't I just run a full backup everynight and not mess with the incremental backups? Thank you so much

When you create the backup, you would have ticked the C:\ drive if you wanted to back it up. As such, new files added to the C:\ drive will get backed up. The backup job as far as its concerned will backup everything in the C:\ drive. note that the tick refers to a "clean" tick, not a gryed one which may indicate excluded files/folders.
