fujitsu series 3 shows message but no message

msw light on but no message in mbx can't get light off, why?

Well first of all to turn off the message light
Lift the handset
Dial 1#1
Dial 0
Hangup.

This could be on because some one was messing around and sent a silent message

One possible reason for light on is call back modem is not shuting it off reboot the modem. That is the way an ivs works.

I have a Fujitsu series 3 pbx sys that does not recognise a mail box. I keep getting an error. I have the programming manuals. They offer me little help

Besides being able to turn Message Waiting light on, ie, Dial 1#1
Dial 0
Hangup.

In the same way, ie, from a telset, is there a way to turn it on?
