I'm trying to program a hot line that dials an access code, that for a system that will dial a 1800 number. The access code is for a PRI that has the channels cls DTN. The 500 has also cls DTN, but if I use my test phone, it only work in DIP (pulse). What I'm missing???

Build a phantom 500 with a DCFW to the access code + 1800 number. Then HOT D to the extension of the phantom number. Or you could build an ACD and NCFW to the 800 #.
Your test set has a switch on it to change from DIP to Tone dialing.

Yes I can dial the ACOD from the set. Also I try cls MNL but it give me SCH code

Here is a working example from one of my customers below.

The equipment (scanning machine use for inventory that call an 1800 or something like that) is suposed to be dialing an 1800 number (sorry for the redundancy), btw I tested the equipment directly to a trunk it works fine (that rules out equipment problems).

If I connect to the line a test phone it only work in pulse mode and not in dtmf mode.

Looking at the origonal post:

A phone that is CLS MNL cannot also have CLS DTN or DIP.
A phone that is CLS DTN cannot have FTR HOT.

So, what we need is a printout of the phone.

If I were to guess, your equipment is the thing doing the dialing, not the phone. I bet the phone has a CLS CTD, which is the problem. It must be CLS UNR to dial the "1" after an Access Code.

Can you just HOT D to the full number? It looks like your HOT D goes to the Route Access Code.

If this Route is only used for this purpose (whatever you are configuring in this post), set the MANO=YES (it is NO by default)

There is no such prompt for the route!! :-S

Why did you pick a DID route for this?

Is the ICOG=IAO?

Does anything else use this route?

Can you HOT to the full number rather than just the Access Code?

If you can answer all, it will help everyone to find a solution
