FTP User accounts

Hello. I need to activate several ftp user accounts, I try to do it following Microsoft instructions but... it takes me this error:

530 User ... cannot log in

Can somebody help me?

Always check rites first. Can you as an admin do what you want? Is ftp started in the services? Glen A. Johnson

Hello.

"Always check rites first." -> Phisical directory has security access permission.

"Can you as an admin do what you want?" -> I can acces like administrator but I can't acces like an ftp user.

"Is ftp started in the services?" -> FTP service is started.

What rites do the users that can't access this have? Can you give one admin rites, (Don't tell them), log on as them and try it? See if it's allow or deny settings. (I don't deny anything, just don't allow everything.) Glen A. Johnson
