Could anyone show hoe to ftp to the Meridian? This is very useful when trying to patch a system.

my email is alex.hartoch@eltec.es

Did not know you could FTP to a Meridian switch. If large switch, you have to go to LD 143 and type MDCS INSTALL Fx with the patch disk being in the floppy to do patches. If Option 11 you have to login and go to PDT and install patches from there usually with PCMCIA card in slot A of the CPU. Why would you want to FTP to the switch?

You can FTP to Meridian if you know it ip adress with any user name and PDT level 2 password to upload the patches, but what for? You can do the same in PDT if you know how.

Its just easy to copy the patches using an ftp program. You can select all the patches and copy them. Even this is a good procedure if you have a Meridian network.
