Hi


I have installed th service pack 2 for windows xp pro. But I can't get CuteFTP 6 to work with it. I have enabled bothe the Cute ftp program and port 21 in the windows firewall. When I then try to connect, everything seem fine untill the remote directory is to be listed. Nothing is listed....

Have anyone eperienced the same and have a solution?

I'm sorry to say that none of proposed solutions helped me. When I turn of the firewall, I get connected and the directory content is listed as it should.

I can also connect to ftp servers that use PASV mode. What is the difference between PORT and PASV mode anyway. Does it matter when it comes to security or ..?
