I have a very simple Win2K FTP site set up. It is a stand-alone server not within my domain. I set up users that need to connect and create a folder in the FTProot and assign that as their local folder. This all works great. Recently I was informed that a customer could not access their specified folder via an Explorer browser. When I went to check the account all seemed fine. I could access the account via command line or an FTP program. I received an error when trying to access via the Internet. This makes no sense to me. The permissions and password are correct since I can access via other methods. Only the Internet access does not work. This is NOT the case for all the accounts. I have about 20 accounts and 4 are not accessible via the Internet.
Does the Internet access FTP differently than a command line or FTP program?
Thanks in advance.
