Hi friends,
Is there any way to restrict Unix ftp users not to see any other directory except their home directory.

If you run Solaris 8, there is a new shell called restricted shell , it is located under /usr/lib/rsh .
assign it to the user instead of the normal shells, , he will not have any privilage to go ouside his home directory
I hope it will be usefull to you

Thanks for your reply, I am using solaris 8, rsh ( restricted shell ) works only with telnet. In ftp its allowing cd command. Users they can able list and change the directory path.
Is there any other way?
