FTP question.

Hi Guys:

I am a nontechnical guy with some technical familiarity.'
Actually i want to get some of my files through FTP or any other way from my office server which is linux 5.2 red hat one for an emergengy purpose.
I know the login and password of my server but whenever i try to FTP through WS FTP it says invalid password.

although i am sure the password is correct.I have heard that a server has to FTP set up so that i can ftp files from it from a remote place.
Is there any other way to get my files

Please suggest me.

In ftp, the passwords are case sensitive. Did you check this issue ??

Have you tried the default 'anonymous' id? [sig][/sig]
