Some WAREZ got hold of our FTP server when it was (hate to admit it, intentionally) left out in the clear with annonymous enabled for a day of testing and shakedown and have left some windows unfriendly files.
The folders placed contain spaces and are named "N 98502 ", "S 86250 " and " " (not named anything but the space, apparently). I have loaded the resource kit and attempted to remove these files with the POSIX tools therein contained, following what MS says to do as well as some of the posts I have found here previously, however, to no avail. The posix tools will delete anything I add, but NOT what the WAREZ added.....I have used dir/x to get the shortname and have tried deleting with this as well to no avail.....
ANYONE have a clue on this other than formatting and reloading? Thanks.
