Using the built-in Windows Explorer client, I am having a problem uploading files. The file starts to copy, but never completes. If I disconnect and reconnect to the ftp server, the file has been uploaded, but it has a 0 length. I have tried to connect to two different ftp servers and the same thing happens.

Any help would be appriciated.

I am going to try that but the customer's database program ftp client doesn't work also, so it may be a router firewall issue. There is no firewall in the server.

If there is a latent link or if you are using a proprietary FTP software there could be a timeout setting/issue. Try using an FTP client and increase the timeout for the session
