FTP Backup fails on s8300 CM2.1

When I try to backup I get the following error message, does anybody know where to start looking? FTP is enabled from the maintenance web interface

Where are you trying to back up the translations? 192.11.13.6 is the IP address of the services interface of an S8xxx server, this will not work. Use the IP address of the server itself....(customer LAN interface IP)

This works now,

I never had "anonymous FTP" enabled and was using the wrong directory, once I changed to /pub the backup to 192.11.13.6 worked, I have now downloaded to my PC from 192.11.13.6
