FTP & SBS 2000

Hi,

I've installed MS Small Business Server 2000 on a small network, with access to the Internet going through Proxy Server & ADSL. All users have email and internet access. Prior to setting up the Proxy Server the users also had ftp access, now they don't!!

The server does have ftp access, but how do I enable this for the users as well?

you must add a rule in the proxy server that allows clients to use the ftp protocol. How this is done depends on the version of proxy server. In version 2 you ask the properties of the winsocks proxy, and there in one of the tabs you can configure that they are allowed to handle ftp traffic.
