Hi we're trying to test remote connection via Terminal Server with FRX.

A Thin-Client version of FRX was installed on the Terminal Server. Uniprint was installed on the Terminal Server and is the default printer.

FRX launches ok but when I go to File --> Print Setup I get the following error:
"Error 0. Occured in: PrintCommonDialog()"

Has anyone encountered this error with FRX thin-clients on Terminal Services.

I'm about to load a FAT client and see how that goes but I worry about resource issues with the FAT client.

Thanks, any help appreciated.

I've loaded the FRX FAT client and still have printng issues. The first time it printed ok. Now I'm getting the following: "error: 484 Problem getting printer information from the system. Make sure the printer is setup correctly ... Occured in: PrintCommonDialog()".

We using Terminal Services (Win 2003 Server) for remote connection to GP and FRX. Frx ver 6.7 fat client was installed and pointing to a shared Sysdata directory on the server.

Is there anyone whas is successfully using FRX on Terminal Services? How do you get your users to print?

We use FRx over terminal server and haven't had any problems printing. I wasn't the one who set it up though but I would have heard if they got that error.

Is there a difference if they select output to drilldown viewer before printing?

I have the same error message as Tina has.
Invironment:
2 TS with Load Balancer and FRx 6.7 installed as a fat cllient on both.
We are using UniPrint Server solution for TS. Wors fine for GP but problem with FRx.

Is anybody have a solution how to fixe it?

Barbola,

Do you know what rights your users have? Currently only the administrator can print FRX reports from Terminal Server; the other users (who are all Power Users) still get the "Error: 0. .. PrintCommonDialog()" message.

I posed your question to our tech guy and he asked if the power users all have Modify rights to the root of the server drives?
