Im not getting any error messages in my logs and everything in my AD seems to be working normally. I just ran into this error while trying to troubleshoot some inter-forest trusts.

Is this something I need to follow up on? Without any error logs I dont have much to go on.

"Starting test: frssysvol
Error: No record of File Replication System, SYSVOL started.
The Active Directory may be prevented from starting.
......................... myDC passed test frssysvol"

i get the same errors in both domain controllers. But everything seems to be functioning normally.

thanks for any suggestions

I am getting this same error running dcdiag on main domain server, but not on secondary domain server. AD and replication are working fine and no Event errors either.

It happens periodically. Not sure why. Solution, go into servers and RESTART the File Replication Service and dcdiag will come up clean.
