Hey guys, I have been new to this FRS thing and you are great help.

Question of the day; The FRS Staging file on Server1 (main server) has files from 2/1/08 & 2/2/08 still it. I have seen it push through files from 2/408 2/5/08 and even today 2/6/08 it seems as though they are stuck.

On Server2 (backup) it just has staging for 2/6/08 that it pushes through throughout the day.

My question what do I need to do about the files that are from 2/1 and 2/2 that are stuck there? Do they automatically delete after a certain time? Or is there a safe way to delete them?

Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about sysvol here or your own DFS?
How much data are you replicating?
Are the servers on VAN or LAN?

You do not want to manually delete any files from staging folders, if FRS can't find the file it needs, it will stop replicating.
Yes, there are ways to invoke the cleanup, but it all depends what your scenario is.
Usually the files in staging folder should go away after a while.
Did you just notice this problem? I'd give it more time and see what happens.
Are there any errors/warnings in event viewer?

No there are no errors. It all works great it just seems to ignore those. I moved them to a temp file and am gonna wait a week or so before i delete it, seems to be smooth though.

Im replication 25 gigs over LAN. I created a FRS replication link to two folders. So I guess it's my own DFS
