I created a form on front page and set up a database to retrieve the data people enter in. When I try to access this database I get this error:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '(unknown)'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.

/fpselect.asp, line 326

I have spoken with my hosting service several times and they say that my extentions for FP 2002 are up... they don't have a clue whats wrong. Can someone help me???

What this means is that you may need to define a data source. To do this follow the following steps:

Open the control panel.
Double click on the ODBC Data Sources icon.
Click on Add.
Click on Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)
Click on Finish.
In the Data Source Name box type a name for the data souce for the Active Server page.
Click on Select.
Browse and select the database you want to use and click ok.
You should then be back at the ODBC Microsoft Access Setup diaglog box.
Do one of the following:
If your access database is not controlled through a system database, click None.
If your Access database is controlled through the system database, click on Database, click on System Database, and browse for the system database.

Click OK.
Click OK again.

Thanks a bunch. I am going to try this tonight! :)

I tried this and when I pull up the database results wizard to check what my results are from the form I get this error:
Database Results Error
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file '(unknown)'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.
???
Am I check this correctly? Is there a certain way I have to retrieve the data?

Thanks for your help!
Melissa
