I am limited in experience with powerplay but I think you can do this. I am currently:

1. opening 20+ different powerplay reports
2. copying the contents of each
3. paste them into 20+ corresponding locations in excel
4. then adding a row to source data for a graph

two questions...how to copy/paste from powerplay into excel and how to update source data in a graph all using a macro

any help is greatly appreciated,
Dave

Did you ever try using the Excel Addin that comes with PP? This way you don't have to copy/paste as you can directly connect to a cube...

After some toiling, I am now able to save each powerplay report which is only a 15 X 10 spreadsheet as its own separate excel spreadsheet. Then in excel I use the workbooks.open to open and copy all the info into my master workbook. This all works great, but how would you in powerplay write a macro to open all 20+ reports and save them as their respective excel files. Or maybe not use a macro but update them somehow.

Thanks for your help,

Dave
