Free Virus Scanners 1

Does anyone have any experience with freeware virus scanners and info on how they compare with Norton, Trend or McAfee?

Check out F-Prot, the DOS version is free for home use. It is the basis for a product called F-Secure.

FYI, Computer Associates is now giving away their Innoculan PE virus scanner with free updates as new signatures are provided.
