Well.... My boss asked me about free slots for installing new TLU76 Boards.
I use CNLIP:LIM=ALL,DEV=YES; in all the installations (21 of them!!), but, except those ones who has many positions free, I can't assure that we can install those boards without problems...
How to know it?
I think i have to know exactly wich kind of cabinets (I don't know if this is the correct name) I have (here the names are /10, /20, mini,...), and some knowledge of how it works (for example, I can't use boards in this or that position if there is another board installed in the same BPOS...).

Well...you can see I'm a little bit lost about all this.

Can you help me? Does somebody know the rules for knowing slots free in MD110?

Thx in advance!

TLU76 is a 30channel circuit. This means you need to use timeslots 00 10 20 30 40 50 60 70. Example if you will use TS 50 there should be no boards in 51 52 &53. If there is no space you had to move some extn boards to free up spaces.

aprasha , Be careful because you could have boards in the timeslots X0, that don't appear in the CNLIP, e.g. REU, AAU2, HDU.

If you are using SAM on the newer release versions (3.7 or so) there is a handy tool in the shape of MD Inventory Tool which will do it automatically for you and give' a good print out too.
